Two Thefts from Vehicles, and a Mess Left at One: Police Blotter

The following information was provided by the Fairlawn and Bath Township police departments

Bath police were called to an unusual car break-in Sept. 28.

An employee of McDonald's on Medina Road said someone entered his unlocked car between 4 and 7 p.m., while he was working, and took his wallet.

The thief left something behind, though — open tampons and condoms were found all around the car.

Theft from Driveway in Fairlawn

A Grayling Drive resident went out Sept. 26 to find his car door slightly ajar and his GPS missing.

Also taken were two cups of change from the center console.

The vehicle was unlocked. A report noted that the driver's side visor was broken, apparently as the thief got into the car.
