Two Old Navy Shoplifters Also Had Stolen Items from Mall

security called the about two women possibly shoplifting in the store on Aug. 24, according to a report.

The women left the store before security saw if they stole anything and Bath police caught up with them on West Market Street a little while later, the report said.

The women, both from Akron, admitted to stealing from Old Navy, but officers also found stolen merchandise from and the Express store in , the report said. The stolen merchandise totaled $393.64.

The women also had wire cutters and two booster bags, which stop security alarms from going off. Police charged the women with theft, receiving stolen property and criminal tools.
