TV, Game Console Stolen from Chamberlain Road Apartment

Information provided by the Fairlawn Police Department.

On June 9, a Chamberlain Road apartment renter left his home for the weekend and returned to find his side door open, according to a report.

Someone forced his door open, breaking the door latch and frame, the report said. Thieves stole his 47-inch television, DVD player and Wii game console and accessories.

The items were valued at $1,019, the report said. Police found fingerprints, which are being investigated by a crime unit.

Neighbors said they noticed the man's door open, but did not see anyone go in or out.

Police are investigating.
