A security guard at noticed a cashier was making some fishy transactions on April 7, according to Bath police.
A police report said the cashier was performing customer returns, but instead of giving the customer their store merchandise credit (or gift card), she gave them an empty card.
The cashier did this several times, saving up $111.79. She used those cards to buy clothing and other merchandise at the store, the police report said.
The police charged the cashier with theft and released her with a court summons.
