Three Men Attempt Burglary at Bath Home
Resident's vehicle description leads officer on chase that ends with suspects crashing.
A North Revere Road resident got a scare Tuesday afternoon when three men attempted to break into her home while she was inside. Her description of the suspects' vehicle led a officer on a chase that ended in a crash.
According to police, the victim reported that a suspicious vehicle backed down her driveway in the 800 block of North Revere at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. She did not respond when the suspects rang the front doorbell and "pounded very hard" on the door.
The suspects then backed further down the driveway and approached separate doors in the rear of the residence. One subject opened a rear sliding door and another entered an enclosed rear patio, according to police.
