The following information was supplied by the Bath Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

An early morning traffic stop by a officer resulted in the arrests of three people on charges ranging from drunken driving to possession of drug paraphernalia.

At 2:15 a.m. Dec. 31, an officer stopped a 2004 Pontiac in the 1800 block of Orchard Drive after seeing the motorist travel outside marked lanes and making a wide turn.

The officer said he detected a strong odor of alcohol coming from inside the vehicle and that the 52-year-old male driver’s speech was slurred.
