T.J. Maxx Shoplifters Swipe Several Items, Only Make Off with Dress

On Sept. 6, security saw two women walking around the store. He saw one grab three DKNY wallets and stick them in her purse, a report said.

The woman walked over to the shoe department and proceeded to stuff two pairs of Coach shoes into her purse, the report said. After that, she grabbed two Calvin Klein dresses and put them both on one hanger before entering a dressing room.

When the woman came out of the dressing room, she didn't have anything. The women began walking out the of the store and the security guard was able to grab the purse before both women ran and drove off in a white Pontiac Grand Am, the report said.

The wallets and shoes were recovered, but the woman was wearing the Calvin Klein dress.

In the purse, police found a credit card that belonged to someone else, the report said.
