Suspected Weed Dealer Arrested at Chuck E. Cheese

The following was obtained from a Fairlawn police report dated Feb. 16. It does not indicate a conviction.

A Chuck E. Cheese security guard called Fairlawn police on Feb. 16 after detaining a customer who was reportedly caught with several bags of marijuana. 

The security guard, who also works as a Summit County sheriff's deputy, pulled Lamar E. Hill outside of the children's arcade after smelling a strong odor of marijuana emanating from his clothes.

According to the Fairlawn police report, eight bags of marijuana were found in Hill's possession, along with $360 in cash.

Hill, 25, of Akron, was also caught stuffing several of the bags in the trash before exiting Chuck E. Cheese. 

Hill was arrested and charged with trafficking in drugs, a fourth-degree felony.

He was taken to Summit County Jail and later released on bond.

Hill is awaiting trial on the felony charge.
