Scores of Party Guests Flee When Bath Police Arrive

The following information was provided by the Bath Police Department.

Nearly 100 partiers fled on foot and in vehicles Aug. 11 when , with assistance from two other area police departments, showed up at a Harmony Road home at 11:37 p.m. Aug. 11 to check out a loud-noise complaint.

According to a report, police were called about a loud party in the 1500 block of Harmony Road. They arrived to find about 100 guests, the majority of whom promptly took off.

“Officers observed alcohol containers in plain view inside and outside the residence,” the report stated.

Police determined that the party’s host was an 18-year-old girl who was arrested, processed at the police station and released with a summons to appear in court. Two other adults also were charged with underage drinking and released with court summons.

Officers from the Richfield Police Department and Copley Police Department responded and provided assistance to Bath police.
