Refrigerator Takes a Trip Around Town: Police Blotter

The following information was provided by the Bath Township Police Department

An odd incident was reported to Bath police recently when someone had a large appliance delivered to an apparently random house.

A report said that on Aug. 23, someone called Lowe's and used a company credit card to buy an $1,800 refrigerator.

The caller had it delivered to a Cuyahoga Falls home.

But when the refrigerator was delivered Aug. 29, the homeowner knew nothing about the order.

In the end, no lasting harm was done. The refrigerator was returned to the store and the account was credited.
