'Prank' Could have Led to Injury: Police Blotter

The following information was provided by the Bath Township Police Department

Some kids may have thought they were being funny, but police said a prank on Olentangy Drive could have caused big problems for a motorist in the dark.

An officer driving on the street at 1 a.m. July 12 found someone had placed cement blocks all the way across the road, "creating substantial risk of physical harm to anyone traveling on that roadway," a report said.

In addition, police found two address markers had been removed from yards, trash cans and construction cones had been placed in nearby streets, and three sapling trees were knocked down at one house.
