Police Warn Residents to Lock Vehicles After Man Accused of Criminal Mischief

The Bath Police Department arrested a young man in a Lowe's parking lot last week.

The Bath Police Department posted a photo on Facebook of a suspect officers arrested on Wednesday to warn shoppers to their cars in parking lots. 

Officer Rob Young stopped a 23-year-old Akron man after he said he was tampering with vehicles in the Lowe's parking lot on the morning of June 29, 2013. 

"The man was entering unlocked motor vehicles," according to authorities. 

The man was charged with criminal mischief and drug abuse. Police are reminding residents to lock their vehicles and remove valuables from sight.
