Police Blotter: Sticky Fingers on Market Street

Information provided by the Fairlawn Police Department.

Theft 

• A loss prevention manager at Hollister, 3265 W. Market St., told police that an employee of the store had stolen $1,250 worth of merchandise and cash from the store between June 20 and July 8. The employee paid partial restitution for the theft. He was fired and banned from Hollister, but no charges have been filed.  

• A lanyard valued at $6.99 was stolen from Spencer's  Gifts at at about 11:30 a.m.  July 18. An Akron man admitted to the theft, was cited and banned from Spencer's.
