Police Blotter: Bath Father Wants Protection From Son

The following information was supplied by the Bath Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A South Larkspur Lane resident called at 10:32 a.m. Nov. 20 to request extra patrol of his residence for fear that his son, who had been making threats, would show up there.

The man told police that his 26-year-old son, who is bipolar, had been making serious threats to his family, as well as the son’s ex-girlfriend and her fiancé.

The father told police his son “sent death threats to ex-girlfriend’s fiancé threatening to shoot him in the face in addition to a picture phone message of several weapons" such as an ax, knives, box cutter and pistol.
