Part 2: Our Top 10 Stories of 2011

Today we look at the five most-read stories in Failrawn-Bath Patch this year.

Yesterday, the Copley shooting tragedy dominated our top 10 list. Today, it's a mix of stories from bullying to Lebron James to a call for snow for Christmas. Below are our top five most-read stories of 2011, starting with No. 5:

5. takes our No. 5 spot with her piece on the YouTube video of a 16-year-old, overweight Australian boy being bullied by a younger, smaller boy at the Chifley College Dunheved’s Campus  in New South Wales, Australia. She posed the question: "If all else fails, would you tell your child to use violence to defend themselves against a bully?"

4. Still captivated by the tragedy in Copley, readers wanted to know the name of the second teen who was killed during the shooting rampage on a Sunday morning in August. Police and family members identified 16-year-old , a Copley High School junior, as the final victim.  Police asked the media to hold off on publicizing Shambaugh's name until family members outside the area could be notified.

3. Patch asked if you were rooting for Lebron James during the NBA Finals between the Heat and the Mavericks. Our readers answered: "Not so much." He revealed that he was rooting for the Mavericks for two reasons: One, because he was rooting against James, and two, because he was also rooting against Chris Bosh.

2. Ah, Christmas: The smell of pine in the air, the twinkling lights and the snow blanketing the outside world. Well, not this year. We waited with baited breath for the But, alas, no such luck.

1. The shooting in Copley takes top billing in Fairlawn and Bath, and it also caught the attention of the national media. that eight people were dead after a shooting in the neighborhood at Schocalog Road and Goodenough Avenue. The suspected shooter was chased down and shot dead by police.
