Office Break-In Nets Thief Cash, Computer, Shoes: Police Blotter

The following information was provided by the Fairlawn Police Department

The West Market Foot and Ankle Care Center was broken into the night of Sept. 20, a report said.

The break-in was discovered about 8 a.m. when an employee found desk drawers opened, the blinds closed and the supply closed door ajar.

Missing was $152 from a reception desk, a $900 Dell computer and a pair of prescription shoes worth $160.

A pair of old Nikes was left in their place the shoebox, a report said.

Police said it appears the thief forced a door handle to get into the locked office.
