Odd Visit from 'Police' Doesn't Add Up

The following information was provided by the Bath Township Police Department

Police are looking into an incident on Roberts Ridge June 21 in which a child was visited at home by two men claiming to be police officers.

A report said the girl answered the door about 10:45 a.m. to find two men, both dressed in tan suits, who flashed badges, said they were police officers and asked for her father.

When she said her dad was at work, they said they'd be back about 5 p.m., but never returned.

One man was short, chubby, balding and in his 40s, the girl told police. The other had gray hair and glasses and was in his 50s.

They were rude, the girl said, and were driving a gray sedan in poor condition.
