Never Mind; 'Suspect' Isn't Real: Police Blotter

The following information was provided by the Bath Township Police Department

A local youth may not have realized his mom would call the police when he explained how the dining room window got  broken Oct. 5.

A woman called police around 2 p.m. after her son, who was home alone, said a man had pulled into the driveway in a white Honda Civic, got out and through something at the house.

The boy even offered a description: The suspect was between 18 and 28, had dirty curly brown hair and was wearing a red Nike shirt, camo shorts and white socks.

The next day, Dad took the boy to the police station to offer up the truth. The youth said he accidentally shot out the window with a pellet gun and fabricated the story about the vandal.

Underage Drinking

Officials at Revere Middle School called police about 9:30 a.m. Oct. 3 about a student who appeared to be intoxicated and smelled of an alcoholic beverage.

The youth failed field sobriety tests and was found to have a blood alcohol content of .072, a report said.

The student admitted he had been drinking vodka the previous night, a report said.

He was booked and released to his father.
