Credit Card Thief Sends Gifts to Victim: Bath Police Blotter

The following information was provided by the Bath Township Police Department

 

In an unusual twist on credit card fraud, an Oxbow Road man told police someone used his company credit card to order items -- and had them sent to his address.

The man received chocolates and miscellaneous small gifts, a report said. The charges showed up on his credit card.

The crimes took place between March 17 and 24, and were reported April 1.

A towship resident went to police after someone attached his fifth-grade son's name to pornographic material on Instagram.

The man told police April 5 the items were sent to a number of the boy's classmates.

The youth does not have an Instagram account, the dad said. He said he also intends to pursue the matter with the school administration.
