A local doctor, who works at a practice on West Market Street, told his receptionist used his name to fill a large number of prescriptions at nearby pharmacies.

The doctor received a patient review form in the mail from Medical Mutual Insurance regarding his employee, 56, of Bath Township, which is what made him suspicious, a police report said.

The employee filled several prescriptions for herself, prescribed using his name, the report said. The doctor called pharmacy and to see who phoned the orders in.

The woman had used another employee's name to phone the prescriptions at Acme, the report said, and that employee denied making the calls. The other prescriptions were filled using the employee's maiden name.
