Little Plastic Cup Leads to Big Trouble: Police Blotter

The following information was provided by the Bath Township Police Department

A teen may think twice before littering again in Bath Township.

A report said an officer saw a girl drop a plastic cup on Medina Road about 5:30 p.m. June 19.

He stopped the car and found the driver had only a temporary permit, with no licensed driver in the car.

She was cited for driving without a license. The passenger was cited for littering.

Police called someone with a valid license to pick up the car.

Bad (Travelers) Checks

Police took a report from DSW after a shopper apparently used counterfeit travelers checks to buy two handbags.

A report said the customer then returned the bags to a DSW in New Jersey for a cash refund.
