Leaving Kids Alone in Mall Lands Mom in Trouble
The following information was provided by the Fairlawn Police Department
Security officers at Summit Mall called in police March 23 when they noticed four unattended children in the playground area about 7:25 p.m.
Also, a 2-year-old boy was found wandering alone in Macy's, a report said.

When police started talking to the children, a woman approached and started yelling to the kids. She refused to provide police with indentification and was arrested for obstructing official business, the report said.
Once she was identified, police found she had a warrant for failing to appear in court regarding a Broadview Heights charge.

The woman, 22, of Akron was turned over to Broadview Heights police and banned from the mall for a year.
The kids were released to their grandmother.
