Husband Takes Wife's Purse, Bumps Her with Car: Police Blotter

The following information was provided by the Bath Township Police Department

An unusual domestic dispute brought police to the Speedway station about 3:45 p.m. July 18 after a man allegedly took his wife's purse and tried to drive away.

A report said the woman stood in front of the car, demanding her purse back.

The man called her bluff, moving the car forward until he bumped her, causing her to fall to the ground, the report said.

She suffered minor injuries to her forearms, according to police.

The woman told officers she didn't want to press charges. Police took the woman to a local hotel for the night.
