Graffiti Vandals Caught in Action by Bath Police

Information provided by the Bath Township Police Department.

Graffiti artists have buildings and businesses, and this time, officers caught one in the act.

On April 14, officers saw a car on Yellow Creek Road that was backed up to a gas well near Interstate 77, according to a police report.

Someone was sitting in the passenger seat and told officers his friend was out in the area. The suspect called out to the officers and admitted he had placed a stencil on the bridge with the intent to spray paint it.

McNeely said the man put two stencils one the bridge: once was a coyote and the other was a birdcage. He doesn't believe this graffiti artist is related to any other incidents in the township because it's none of the same art.

Earlier this month, bandits defaced the , the , Sterling and the highway bridge.
