Female Driver Had Blood Alcohol Level Three Times Ohio's Legal Limit

arrested a 28-year-old woman whom an officer saw committing several lane violations as she drove on Cleveland-Massillon Road – and discovered she was driving with a blood alcohol content three times the legal limit in Ohio.
A Bath officer stopped the southbound motorist at 4:50 a.m. Dec. 11. While speaking with the woman, the officer noticed “a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage” and “slurred speech and red glossy eyes.”
The driver was asked to perform field sobriety tests “on which she performed poorly,” the report said.

The woman was arrested and taken to the Bath police station for processing. There, she was given an alcohol breath test and registered a blood alcohol content of .241. The legal blood alcohol limit for driving in Ohio is .08.
The woman was cited for drunken driving, drunken driving with a blood alcohol content over .17 and marked lane violations. She was later taken to , where she got a ride from a taxi company. Her vehicle was towed by police order.
