Driver Gets in Trouble Because of Who His Passenger Is: Police Blotter

The following information was provided by the Fairlawn Police Department

 

A routine traffic stop led to the arrest of an Akron man after police identified the passenger in the car April 28.

A report said police ran a check on the driver and found he was the subject of a protection order.

And who had filed it? The woman in the passenger seat.

Officers verified the order was still in effect, the arrested the man. He was taken to Summit County Jail.
