Doylestown Man Arrested After Police Find Sawed Off Shotgun in Truck

stopped a Dodge Ram truck on West Market street Jan. 22, after a computer check found the driver had a warrant through Wadsworth and was driving on a suspended license, police said.

The officer arrested the driver, Patrick Ray Hull, 21, of Doylestown, on the arrest warrant through Wadsworth, and during his pat-down found a gram of marijuana in Hull's shirt pocket, according to a police report.

Upon searching Hull's truck, police also found a New England Firearms sawed-off shotgun, marijuana pipe and four shot gun slugs, police said.

Hull admitted to possessing the weapons and drugs and police charged him with unlawful possession of a weapon, transporting the weapon, drug abuse and drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Summit County Jail.
