Cryptic Text Sends Worried Man to Bath Police Station

On Aug. 14 around 12:30 a.m., a Fryman Drive man got an alarming text message on his phone:

"I hid the body, it's done and over with," the text said, according to a report.

Bath police Chief Mike McNeely said he was able to trace the number to Athens County, Ohio, and he contacted the local police.

"They don't have any unsolved crimes there right now," McNeely said. "But they are aware of the text."
