UPDATE: Copley Woman Ejected from Car in Overnight Accident ID'd

Information provided by the State Highway Patrol.

A Copley woman was thrown from her car after driving off Bath Hill Boulevard and striking a tree, according to Sgt. Carlos Smith of the State Highway Patrol. Macy Emma Mruk is 18 years old. According to Facebook, Mruk is a student.

The woman was not wearing a seatbelt.

Troopers said the woman went off the road, hit a tree and her car overturned, which threw her out the driver's side window. They believe alcohol is a factor, but charges are pending.

The woman was taken to Akron Children's Hospital where she sustained a head, back and pelvic fracture, but she is stable, troopers said.
