Fishing Wasn't the Only Crime

A witness reported a man fishing in a lake behind a residence on Embassy Parkway about 8:40 a.m. April 7.

When police asked the fisherman for his identification, they discovered he was wanted by the Coshocton County Sheriff's Office for failing to appear on a traffic violation.

Coshocton officials said they would come and arrest the man, so he was detained until they arrived.

More Funny Money

Another counterfeit $20 bill was passed at Taco Bell April 7.

It's at least the third phony bill that's shown up there in recent weeks.

Police turned over the fake money to the U.S. Secret Service.
