Bullet Found on Patio: Police Blotter

The following information was provided by the Bath Township Police Department

A Rock Creek resident flagged down a police officer Sept. 7 to show him what he found on his back patio — a spent bullet.

Neither he nor the officer could find any damage to the house or patio.

A report said the bullet may have been fired from a wooded area behind the house. Police advised the resident to call police right away if he hears any gunshots coming from the woods.

Warning Comes Too Late

Employees at TJ Maxx called police Sept. 6 about an email alert other stores in the chain sent out about fake travelers checks being spent.

Security officers found the Bath store had already fallen victim.

Surveillance video shows a woman using four fake travelers checks to buy three purses Aug. 23.
