Buckle Employee Caught Making Fake Return

The manager at , in , called police on Jan. 29 to report that her employee had made a fraudulent return, according to

In surveillance footage, the employee was seen walking up to the register, pulling a receipt out of her pocket and completing a return for $199.60, police said. However, the employee only took $170 from the drawer.

When she was approached by the manager, the employee said she did the return for someone who was walking around the store, but the tapes showed there was no customer. When the manager asked where the merchandise was, the employee said she didn't take any, police said.

The 30-year-old Akron woman was given a summons for court, police said.
