Bridge Bomb Plot Case Suspect Pleads Guilty

Media reports say that Anthony Hayne, of Cleveland, pleaded guilty in federal court Wednesday morning.

The Akron Beacon Journal reports that one of the suspects in the alleged bridge bomb plot case has pleaded guilty.

with an attempted use of an explosive, with conspiracy to use a weapon of mass destruction and with an attempt to use that weapon to destroy a highway carrying interstate commerce. WKYC reports that Hayne pleaded guilty to all three charges in federal court Wednesday morning. Sentencing has not yet been scheduled.

The other men involved were Brandon L. Baxter, of Lakewood; Joshua S. Stafford, of Cleveland; Connor C. Stevens, of Berea; and Douglas L. Wright, of Indianapolis.
