Bath Township Police Honor 9/11 Victims' 10th Anniversary

Officers and Police Department administrative staff built float for Bath Community Day Parade.

They painted and lettered and plastered on their days off and during lunch hours. On Saturday (Aug. 6), will show off their artistic talents in the Bath Community Day Parade with a seven-foot tall memorial to the victims of 9/11.

“It was made in the outline of the Pentagon,” Police Chief Michael McNeely said, “and you can see the Twin Towers painted on there."

Sgt. Kevin Moats said the float will be pulled with the police department’s pickup truck.

Officers and other police employees built the float in the department’s garage, donating their time and money for supplies.
