Bath Township Police Blotter: Hit Skip Suspect Leaves a Trail to Door

The following arrest information was supplied by the Bath Township Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Hit Skip: A woman was charged with failure to yield and leaving the scene of an accident on May 25 at   One driver left the parking lot after the crash, but inadvertently left the front license plate of the vehicle behind. Police located the vehicle and its owner in Akron through the license number.

Assault: A 24-year-old woman was arrested after she was accused of biting a 34-year-old woman from Uniontown at 1 a.m. May 28 at the gas station. The women were fighting over who would use the restroom.

Theft: Sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. May 24 a woman told police her diamond earrings and wedding set were missing from the jewelry box in the master bedroom of her home in the 600 block of San Pier Drive. The woman told police she noticed that the items were missing when a cleaning service was at the residence. Cleaning service personnel agreed to a search of the employees, the equipment and vehicles. The jewelry was not located.

Theft: A woman told police that her cell phone was taken from her back pocket while she was in the play room at McDonalds with her 2 year old. She said she did not see anyone suspicious at the time.
