Bath Horse Show is This Weekend

69th annual event raises money for the township's fire department

The 69th annual Bath Fire Department Horse Show is set for this weekend.

The 2013 show will take place July 6-7 at the Fire Department Training Grounds, at the corner of North Revere Road and Everett Road, directly across from Revere High School.

General admission tickets are $5. Senior tickets are $3, and children under 5 are free. Family passes are $15.

Events start at 9 a.m. each day.

The show is the Fire Department's annual fundraiser, with donations collected by the department's non-profit arm, Bath Fire Department Inc., used to help pay for new ambulances, fire trucks, specialized rescue equipment and gear.

The money also helps sponsor the "Learn Not to Burn" program in the elementary schools.
