Akron Man Arrested for Fairlawn Road Fight
The following arrest information was supplied by the Fairlawn police department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Road rage -- A confrontation in traffic at West Market Street and Smith Road at about 2 p.m. July 22 resulted in injuries to one man and the arrest of another.
Passing motorists pulled over to stop an apparent fight between Michael J. Lesko, 49, of Akron and Joshua D. Blanford, 36, of Akron .
According to police, Lesko and witnesses said that Blanford stopped in front of Lesko's car in traffic, and when Lesko opened his door Blanford pulled him out onto the street and began kicking and punching him.

Two witnesses pulled the men apart and gave police a description of Blanford's car.
Blanford was subsequently topped by Fairlawn Police at North Cleveland-Massillon Road and Springside Drive. According to a police report Blanford, had scratches on his face and said he was in a physical altercation. He declined to make a statement at the police station.

Blanford was arrested for misdemeanor assault. He made an initial appearance in Akron Municipal Court Monday, July 25. He is scheduled for pre-trial Aug. 15.
Lesko was treated for minor injuries and suspected internal injuries at .
