400 Feet Was Too Far Away for Wallet: Police Blotter

The following information was provided by the Bath Township Police Department

A contractor's wallet disappeared Aug. 6, even though he thought he was keeping an eye on it.

A report said the man was working at a job on Sand Run Road between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., with his truck parked about 400 feet away.

He'd left his wallet in the vehicle, inside his lunchbox, a report said.

When he got home and opened the lunchbox, the wallet was gone.

He canceled his credit cards, but someone had already used them at a number of local stores for about $1,200.
