2 Shoplifters Put Stolen Goods in their Pants

The following information was provided by the Fairlawn Police Department

Bath police were called to arrested two suspected shoplifters last week, both men who concealed stolen items in their pants.

On Aug. 30, a man ran out of Old Navy after an employee recognized him as someone who'd shoplifted there in the past, a report said.

As the man fled, he left boys' clothes on a front table, but the manager saw what appeared to be clothing sticking out from his pants as he ran.

He got away.

Later that day, a local store called for help after a man place a bottle of Polo cologne down his pants.

Police found the Polo in his shorts, along with a bag of marijuana. He was charged with theft and drug abuse.
