2 Car Break-ins Reported at School

The following information was provided by the Bath Township Police Department

Purses were stolen from two cars parked at Old Trail School, 2315 Ira Rd., Sept. 10, according to reports.

In both cases, the purses were left on the passenger seat. One car was locked; the other was not.

The thefts took place between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. Both vehicles were parked at the the school's Athletic Center.

In one incident, the thief opened the door of an unlocked vehicle and took a Kate Spade purse containing $20 in cash, an iPhone and credit cards. 

In addition, a bag containing a sterling silver Pandora bracelet was taken.

In the other incident, the thief smashed a window to get at a Prada purse. It contained credit cards, a report said.
