2 Break-Ins Reported in Fairlawn Parking Lots: Police Blotter

The following information was provided by the Fairlawn Police Department

The dates and times were different, but the result the same in two car break-ins.

An employee at Max and Erma's told police she parked her car at 5 p.m. Sept. 4 and returned at 7:45 p.m.. to find the passenger window smashed.

Missing from inside were credit and debit cards.

On Sept. 8, a teenage girl saw a man wearing baggy pants smash a car window outside Faith Lutheran Church, then leave in a small white vehicle at about 8 p.m.

Police located the owner of the car inside the church. She confirmed that her purse, which contained credit cards and $80 in cash, had been stolen.
