14-Year-Old Not Only Drives, But Breaks Traffic Laws: Police Blotter

The following information was provided by the Bath Township Police Department

A joy ride by a 14-year-old Bath Township boy might have attracted less attention if he hadn't been flagrantly ignoring traffic laws, according to a report.

A resident reported about noon Aug. 13 that the teen was driving the car rapidly back and forth on Ranchwood Road.

The caller recognized the youth as being 14.

When officers arrived, they saw him fail to stop at a stop sign.

Police charged the youth with driving without a license and a stop sign violation. Both he and his 13-year-old passenger were released to their mothers.
