14-Year-Old Girls Caught Shoplifting at Macy's

On April 3, security officer spotted two girls grabbing clothes off the rack and putting them in a large handbag, according to

One girl walked into a dressing room with clothes and came out empty-handed, the report said. When they tried to leave, security stopped them at the door. They had concealed more than $150 in clothing.

When police ran their names through the system, they found one girl had been reported missing by her guardian. She was released to the guardian and the other girl was incarcerated at the Summit County Juvenile Detention Center.

Both girls were banned from Macy's, police said.
