LaRose Sworn In for 130th General Assembly
During the opening ceremony for the 130th General Assembly, Frank LaRose was sworn in as State Senator for the 27th Ohio Senate District.
As part of the opening ceremonies for the 130th General Assembly, Frank LaRose (R- Copley) was sworn in as the State Senator for the 27th Ohio Senate District, which includes portions of Summit and Stark counties and all of Wayne County. LaRose, who is currently serving his first term in the Senate, was first elected in 2010.
“I am honored to represent the families and communities of the 27th Senate District at the Statehouse,” LaRose said. “ As we prepare to address the state budget and other issues facing Ohio, I look forward to working with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle in crafting policies that build on our progress in job growth and economic development, while ensuring that the tax dollars Ohioans have worked hard to earn are spent responsibly.”
A decorated Army veteran, Senator LaRose currently serves on the board of directors for the Summit County Historical Society and is the Jr. Vice Commander of the Fairlawn VFW. He and his wife, Lauren, live in Copley Township with their daughter.
