Heartbeats Jump Rope Team Instructional Classes
The Heartbeats Jump Rope Team is now taking registration for its November-December session of classes for beginning, intermediate and advanced jumpers. Members of the team will be instructors for these fun and skill building sessions.
The five-week session of classes will be offered at Pinnacle Sports, located at 313 Medina Road in Medina, on Friday afternoons from 5:00-6:30 p.m. as follows: November 2, 9, 16 (no classes on November 23 or November 30) and December 7, 14. Cost for the entire session is $80.00, with a 10% discount for siblings and Pinnacle members. Returning jumpers will get a $25.00 credit for each new jumper that they bring to the classes. Designed for young as well as experienced athletes, ages 7 and older, the classes will teach the basic skills of single rope, Double Dutch, wheel and long rope. With objectives of speed, form and endurance, they will help participants in a multitude of sports. In addition, the classes will also act as a building block for jumpers to learn the skills and competition etiquette needed to become a member of the Heartbeats Jump Rope Team.
