The wind is expected to be joined by precipitation. Meteorologists predict that rain showers will turn into snow by the mid-morning today.

The snow will persist through Wednesday with 3-7 inches expected in Lake County and 3-6 in other areas by Wednesday night.

Wind can sometimes cause property damage -- knocking down trees or power lines. Let us know if any roads are closed in your area or if any neighborhoods lose power because of wind damage; and we'll update this story.
