Spring is here (though you’d hardly know it with this week’s temperatures) and a woman’s fancy turns to thoughts of – pedicures.
Sam Wanna Salon and Day Spa on Medina Road features a spa pedicure in its own version of The Great Escape and in its Mini Escape.
Book the Great Escape and spend six hours being pampered by the Sam Wanna staff. The package includes the body treatment of your choice, a one-hour Hungarian facial, a one-hour relaxation massage, manicure, make-up application, shampoo and style and, of course, the spa pedicure. The Great Escape package is $337.

The Mini Escape package is two and a half hours of pampering for $133. In addition to the spa pedicure, you get a manicure and your choice of a one hour relaxation massage or a one-hour Hungarian facial.
If all you want is a good pedicure, spa pedicures by themselves start at $55.

Esthetician Desiree Bickett said the Sam Wanna staff also can help you put together your own package of spa treatments. Choose four or more services and get 10 percent off hair services, 15 percent off nail services and 20 percent off any spa service, excluding waxing.
Bickett said many clients like to make a party of their spa treatments and Sam Wanna regularly hosts bridal showers and bachelorette parties as well as corporate events. Sam Wanna makes available the lower level of its beautifully rustic cedar and stone building for parties of all sizes, she said. Although the spa does not provide food or drinks, clients are welcome to bring the snacks and libations of their choice, Bickett said.
