REVISED: Severe Weather Warning for Fairlawn Issued Again Today
Warning downgraded to slight risk of thunderstoms, but alert extended until midnight.
Fairlawn is under only a slight risk of thunderstorms until midnight, and Fairlawn and Bath are under a flood warning until 4 a.m.
The warning is a downgrading of a caution issued by Farilawn to its residents late Thursday afternoon. The warning was based on an alert from the National Weather Service broadcast at 5 p.m. which warned of two thunderstorms moving through our area from Wooster and Wadsworth, capable of producing winds in excess of 60 mph and quarter-size hail.
