Photos of the Day: 9/11 Riders Roll Through Fairlawn

Ride for 9/11 donations benefit the Leary Firefighters Foundation and the Wounded Warrior Project.

The firefighters will cycle 3,300 miles, almost non-stop from California to New York City. The group that passed through Fairlawn, Cuyahoga Falls, Stow and Kent is making the trip as part of the , which honors the 343 firefighters killed in the terrorist attacks.

The ride also is meant to honor the nation's military personnel and is raising money for the The Leary Firefighters Foundation and the Wounded Warrior Project. Visit this web site for information on the project and to make a donation.

Cyclists spent the night in Kent before heading out to Pittsburgh.
