Pets of the Week: Tootsie and Juniper

The Humane Society of Greater Akron  is offering these animals for adoption.

Tootsie

Tootsie is a 10-month-old Pit Bull mix that weighs about 40 pounds. She is a sweet girl with a nice mix of being laid-back, cuddly and playful. She gets along well with other dogs. We hope someone rolls in soon to meet Tootsie!

Juniper

A lovely senior, Juniper greets everyone she meets with a meow and hello. This golden oldie (12 years young) is set in her ways and she’s earned it. She loves catnip more than life itself, going into a cosmic daze when you treat her to catnip flakes, and loves to be petted. Probably best in a quiet home with no other pets, but you never know! She’s laid back, and likes to watch the world around her and if you have a window ledge that needs a purring princess Juniper, may be your girl!

Senior dog over 6 years old: $40
Senior to Senior Program - Senior person over 60 adopts a senior dog: $15
Kittens: $75
Cats - over 6 months: $50
Rabbits: $40

Adopters age 60 or older may adopt a dog, 3 years or older or a cat, 5 years or older without paying the adoption fee. Proof of age is required.

All animals are spayed or neutered before leaving the shelter, have received a microchip and have had age-appropriate vaccinations and flea treatment.
